Anime hero evolution

vijei:

I love how Gintama has the least theatrics and still is the most badass. Gives me the feeling that with Gintama, we are finally seeing the hints of anime evolve from the kid/geek niché, and move towards a more mature, mainstream audience. The day anime gets more grownup shows like Gintama is the day we can finally say goodbye to those “You watch anime?! What are you, 8?!” jabs.

Hou yeah. Totally built for greatness, ya know.  

Those are real goals and real dreams.
